Moving the sleigh and collecting Santa's fallen presents in 3rd class PE!

As part of the Active School Flag initiative, seasonal PE activities are encouraged so this week rang a trí had a "sleigh" competition where they had to get the sleigh past the finishing line as fast as possible. The sleigh was made up of hula hoops and each pod had their own sleigh. It was great fun and the pods showed great team-work and collaboration. In a second activity they had to move the sleigh around the yard to collect colour-coded presents (beanbags). Each pod had their own colour of present to collect and bring back to Santa's workshop. This involved the children having to plan the best route around the yard so that they could get the presents as efficiently as possible and would not crash into any other team.
