Following a meeting on the 16/09/2026, the Board of Management of St Patrick’s National School has formally adopted the school’s updated Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment, in accordance with the Child Protection Procedures for Schools 2025.
The Board of Management has reviewed our Child Safeguarding Statement and Risk Assessment and this is notification of this review.
Our Class Formation Policy was reviewed, amended and ratified by the BOM on 09/04/2025.

The parental complaints procedure was revised and agreed by the Irish National Teachers’ Organisation and the management bodies of primary schools, the Catholic Primary Schools Management Association, the Church of Ireland, An Foras Pátrúnachta, the Muslim Primary Education Board, Educate Together and the National Association of Boards of Management in Special Education in 2023.
St. Patrick’s N.S. recognises the importance of good school attendance.
Our SEN policy was coordinated and developed by the SET teachers and Principal in consultation with the classroom teachers and SNAs in the school.
