Google Meet with Gearóid and Seán

Q&A with Gearóid Hegarty and Seán Finn
Our pupils had two very special virtual visitors to the school on Friday 12th March last. Current hurler of the year Gearóid Hegarty and 3 time All- Star Seán Finn from the Limerick Senior Hurling Team joined us on a Google Meet.
Our pupils had come up with lots of very interesting questions for the lads in advance of the call. Gearóid and Seán spoke about their training and nutrition before big games in Croke Park. The told us how they felt when they won their first All-Ireland in 2018 and how different it was in 2020 when there was no supporters in Croke Park.
The most important message for our pupils from the call was the importance of having a good attititude, working hard and doing your best every day. Both Seán and Gearóid emphasised the importance of hard work when it comes to training for your favourite sport and also when it comes to your school work.
We would like to thank the lads for coming on the call on Friday and Mr. Reidy for helping us organise the event. Best of luck to Seán and Gearóid this year when they get back out onto the hurling field in the green and white of Limerick.
