Liam McCarthy Cup Visit

25 May 2022

Great celebrations as the Liam McCarthy made a visit to Bruree NS.

We had a super morning on Tuesday 24th May when the Liam McCarthy Cup made a visit to our school. All our classes had an opportunity to have their picture taken with the cup. Parents and members of the local community and GAA club joined us while the cup was here. We are lucky to have Limerick hurler, David Reidy, teaching in the school. He took part in a question and answer session with our pupils. He answered questions on nutrition, the team's training and his memories of hurling underage with his club and with Bruree NS.

We all really enjoyed the visit. Thanks to everyone who attended, to the County Board for facilitating the visit and to David for giving his time on the morning.
