We had a very special assembly on Monday 21st of June. We celebrated all the great work done by our classes since our last assembly, the work of our Green Flag Committee, Pupil Council, Active Flag commitee and Gardening Club and we congratulated our school teams who did so well this year in all competitions.

Our assembly did have a tinge of sadness as we celebrated the careers of our vice principal, Catherine Hynes, our SET Fiona Walsh and our SNA Eileen O'Connell. All three are retiring at the end of this school year after over 70 years service to the school. 

Catherine, Fiona and Eileen, thank you for everything you have done for our school. Thank you for your hard work, your care, your dedication and the difference you have made in the lives of so many pupils.

On behalf of all the staff, pupils and families of our school, we wish you health, happiness and many wonderful years ahead in retirement.

I would like to wish everyone a lovely safe and relaxing summer holidays.
