3rd class conducted an investigation into conductors and insulators today

Pupils in 3rd class learned about sources of heat and sorted them into natural and artificial. After that, they learned about conductors and insulators and carried out an investigation into different materials to see if they would conduct electricity or not. They did this by creating a circuit including a light bulb and knew that if material being tested was an insulator, the bulb would not light and if it was a conductor the bulb would light. They predicted the outcome before testing each item.

They ended the lessons on Conductors and insulators by completing some fun interactive games on Wordwall.
