Bridges Showcase in 2nd & 3rd

2nd & 3rd spent a week learning about bridges and then went on to plan and build their own!
2nd & 3rd class learned all about bridges - types of bridges, what shapes and materials make good bridges. They also saw some very famous bridges all around the world. They completed ths project on Seesaw and then planned and constructed a bridge at home that they brought to school. There was great excitement when all the bridges arrived and even greater excitement when the pupils and teachers from other classes could visit and see their great work. The pupils explained what type of bridge they had made, the materials they used and if it was based on a bridge around the world. They did a fantastic job.
