Environmental Awareness and Care - World Earth Day 2021

Senior Infants loved learning about endangered animals to celebrate World Earth 2021.

Senior Infants celebrated World Earth Day 2021 by learning about endangered animals. They went on a scavenger hunt around the school searching for fact files. They learned facts about different animals and why they were endangered. Many animals are endangered due to people hunting them or destroying their habitats through pollution and littering. Senior Infants worked together to think of ways they can help to make the world a better place. They decided that they would not litter and would pick up any litter when they see it, use a reusable bottle in school, recycle their rubbish at home and use reusable bags when shopping with Mam and Dad.
