Green Flag

Green School Committee - Poster and Slogan Competition Closing Date Feb 21st

Early in 2024, the Green School Committee announced at our monthly assembly that there would be a competition for a Green Code / slogan and a poster containing the slogan.

The Committee called to classes from 2nd to 6th to invite pupils to enter the competition and outlined the requirements for same. The poster design must contain the slogan / code and must be on A4 paper.

The Committee also gave some sample Green codes and welcomed entries with the following theme: Green, environment, litter and waste, recycling, protecting the planet.

As the first Green Flag is for litter and waste, the committee would like to base the themes around the different flags as we progress through the Green Flag process.
