The Green School Committee announced the start of a whole-school litter-picking rota in November. The litter-picking kit was assembled with gloves, pickers, bags and hi-vis vests. The rota was drawn up for each class to have the kit for a fortnight and would be done at lunchtime for 10 minutes on the front and back yards of our school.
Sixth class started the rota and after a fortnight it passed to fifth class and so on. When it comes to the infant classes, it is planned to pair up the older classes as a buddy to the younger pickers.
