School Assembly 05/10/2023

We had our first assembly of the new school year on the 5th of October. It was brilliant to bring all our pupils, teachers and SNAs together in one room. Each classroom had an opportunity to showcase one activity that they had been working on in their room since we returned in late August. The school has been selected to participate in the GAA 5 Star Centre initiative to encourage children to become more active in their daily lives.

I.T.

We are well served at present with 18 IPads and 10 laptops available to use in our classrooms. Pupils focus on creating their own digital content.

LITERACY

Children read books at their own level of competency and gradually raises the complexity of what they can do in both reading and writing.
